Reporting Harmful Content

Codunk is committed to maintaining a safe platform. If you encounter a website or web application hosted on Codunk (*.codunk.site or custom domains) that contains illegal, harmful, or abusive content, please report it immediately.

What to Report

You should report content that:

  • Is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours (US law)
  • Contains malware, phishing, or fraudulent schemes
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark)
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
  • Exploits or endangers minors
  • Impersonates another person or organization
  • Distributes personal information without consent (doxxing)
  • Promotes illegal activities or controlled substances
  • Contains spam or deceptive practices

How to Report

Send an email to abuse@codunk.com with the following information:

  • URL of the reported site (e.g., example.codunk.site)
  • Description of the abusive content or behavior
  • Screenshots if applicable
  • Your contact information (optional, but helpful for follow-up)

For copyright infringement (DMCA takedown requests), please also include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Our Response

  • We acknowledge all abuse reports within 24 hours.
  • We investigate and take action within 48-72 hours for most reports.
  • For content that poses an imminent threat (malware, phishing, child exploitation), we take immediate action.
  • Actions may include: content removal, site suspension, account termination, and reporting to law enforcement where required.
  • We will notify the site owner of the action taken, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or endanger someone.

Good Faith

We act on all reports in good faith. Abuse of the reporting system (e.g., filing false DMCA claims or reporting competitors in bad faith) may result in action against the reporter, including account suspension.
